Tom Mitchell

Managing Director

Tom Mitchell is a Qualified Engineer and experienced Business and Operations Manager with twenty years experience in the Industrial Services, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas and Waste Management Industries.

Tom has broad experience across all aspects of business including Safety Leadership, Financial Management, Engineering, Operations, Administration, Business Development and Strategic Planning, where his remit has covered Businesses Operations and Projects in most states of Australia as well as Singapore and New Zealand.

During his career working in both the publicly listed and private sectors, Tom has managed and overseen multi-disciplinary businesses of up to 70 staff, successfully delivering on complex Industrial contracts across Asia Pacific to Tier 1 customers, including: Caltex, Royal Dutch Shell, ExxonMobil, BP, Viva Energy, RNZ, CPB, Ventia, John Holland and Thiess-Degremont JV.

Tom joined CKI Industrial in 2019 as General Manager and was appointed to the role of Managing Director in 2021.

Robbie Cullen

Projects Director

Robbie’s expertise covers many aspects of the Industrial Services Industry including: Personnel Management, Customer Service, Plant Management (Implementation of Systems), Project Tendering, Project Management, Shutdown Planning, Shutdown Management, Operations Management, and Business Management.

Robbie has consistently delivered over the past thirty years on Major Industrial Projects, for customer such as Caltex Kurnell & Lytton Refineries, Viva (formally Shell) Geelong, Mobil Refinery Altona, Qenos Vic & NSW, Huntsman Chemical Company, Hexion Melbourne (formally ORICA-(ICI), Koppers Carbon Materials, Alcoa Point Henry and Ford Geelong.

Within his role as Projects Director, Robbie is also providing mentorship to our Project Managers and Operational Supervisors; passing on the skills, knowledge and expertise he has learned over a long and successful career to ensure CKI Industrial continue to exceed our customers’ expectations well into the future.

Tony Sama

Finance Manager and Company Secretary

Tony Sama is a highly experienced Administrative, Finance & Corporate Governance professional.
A highly accomplished allrounder, Tony thrives on collaborating with and aiding all members of the CKI Industrial team..

A qualified Accountant and Company Secretary, Tony is currently a Fellow Member of the Institute of Public Accountants and an Associate Member of The Corporate Governance Institute of Australia.

Tony’s extensive expertise has been honed through significant tenures in prominent senior executive roles, including: Finance Director & Company Secretary at Saab Automobile Australia, Finance Controller (Asia Pacific Markets) at Saab Automobile AB, AutoCRC and consulting engagements with Public and Private sector entities such as the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), Afterpay Ltd, and the Victorian Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

Tony embarked on his journey with CKI Industrial in April, 2022, assuming the role of Contracts Manager. His role subsequently expanded to encompass Finance & Administration Management and Company Secretary duties.

Jason Archer

Senior Project Manager

Jason is a Senior Project Manager of complex projects across all of CKI Industrials offerings, including NDD, Low pressure and High-Pressure Cleaning, Tank Cleaning, Bundle Pulling & Reinsertion, Pipe Lancing, hand-gun operations Vacuum Loading & Drain Cleaning. Jason has been servicing the Industrial Services and Waste Management industry for nearly twenty years.

Jason has vast and varied Project Experience, delivering to customers such as Lyondell Basel, Terminals Geelong, Caltex Kurnell, Viva Energy (Shell), Origin Energy, BASF, Hexion, Huntsman Chemical Company, Stolthaven and the Qenos Complex to name a few.

Chris Cullen

Senior Project Manager and Company Director

Chris has been working in the Industrial services and Waste Management Industry for the past twelve years. Chris initially started as an operator and progressed through the business levels to become a Senior Project Manager while still maintaining his expertise with on the job experience.

Chris has gained vast experience within his key involvement in the Caltex Kurnell NSW Tank Decommissioning Programs, well as the Koppers NSW Tank Cleaning Program. Chris has played a key role in the development of the “Cleaning Standard” at a major client site, which was of great significance, as it identified the most cost-effective methodology, equipment and pressures necessary to achieve the required cleanliness for our customers to maintain API compliance.

Tommy Daly

Accounts Director

Tommy has been working in the Industrial Services and Waste Management industry for fifteen years. Tommy has extensive industry experience and has worked for a broad range of Tier-One customers, as well as playing a pivotal role on many Major Projects in the industry.

In his current role, Tommy is responsible for developing key accounts and providing liaison between our operational staff and client base, to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with our services. Tommy is a strong motivator of personnel and has excellent negotiation skills, coupled with strong leadership values. Forward thinking and very objective, Tommy prides himself on being completely customer focused.

Jason Johnston

Project Manager: ExxonMobil Altona Decommissioning

Jason currently holds the role of Project Manager: ExxonMobil Altona Decommissioning.

 

 

Joe Cullen

Operations Support

Joe has been involved in nearly all aspects of the Industrial Services industry for over three decades, having worked on and supervised some of the most complex projects and shutdowns at Huntsman Chemical Company, Shell Geelong, Qenos Altona Refineries, Orica Deer Park, Visy Coolaroo (Cogen Plant, Plant 4 & Plant 5) & Visy Tumut.

Throughout his career, Joe has gained experience both in the field and through various levels of supervision and management, giving him an in-depth knowledge across all our business areas. Joe is extremely passionate about his work, with a primary focus to ensure a high level of operational safety, reliability and quality. Joe is instrumental in maintaining CKI Industrials reputation as a supplier of efficient and economical services.
